About Station 16’s Creative Duo

Before Jed and Erika got married, they knew they wanted to pursue the arts together. Originally Station 16 was just a band name, but they realised they wanted a studio dedicated to creating meaningful work in theatre, film, and writing. They are passionate about storytelling in theses forms especially and the unique ways each medium brings stories to life.

At the same time, the Station 16 team has become increasingly aware that there are tools that can sometimes pull people away from the collaborative nature of creating art. They believe collaboration is not just helpful, but essential to the creative process. Because of that, they have set out to build a studio that prioritizes working with real people so that all contributing members can benefit from shared creativity, and the pursuit of stories that matter. Together they hope to create and share good stories with the world.

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to create beautiful, high-quality art across music, writing, theatre, and film. We are committed to a collaborative creative process that brings artists together, supports one another’s craft, and produces work that resonates with and enriches our audience.

We have a vision to cultivate a vibrant artistic community that prioritizes human connection, collaboration, and authenticity in an age of increasing creative isolation. We aim to be a space where artists gather to make meaningful work together and where audiences experience art that feels alive, shared, and deeply human.
